Naturopathic Medicine

In naturopathic medicine, the body is aided in its healing process by natural therapies. For example, there are herbal remedies and massages as well acupuncture and exercise as well as counselling on nutrition.

In the 1800s, German naturopathy was imported to the United States, but some of its therapies date back hundreds of years before to that. There are some modern components to it, but it is still based on conventional therapies. Nurturing the mind, body, and spirit is a primary purpose of naturopathic medicine. Instead of treating symptoms, it seeks to repair the disease's underlying causes.
